When you are searching for new base pad, you need to consider two things: #1 for what CZ model is it, and #2 whether you will ever use a magwell on the gun. Lets explain.

Factory base pads, and many aftermarket ones, are "long" in order to be flush with the grip in the front. However, if you want to have a magwell installed to your CZ, you need short base pads. Otherwise you will not be able to push the magazine deep enough - the long base pads would collide with the magwell.
*Important - You can use magwell-compatible base pads even if you do not run magwell. These base pads will not be flush with the front of the grip, but they will be 100% functional.*
To make the search easier, you can search solely base pads that are magwell comaptible and such that are not magwell compatible. You can also find magwell-compatibility in the description of each base pad on this CZ Parts website.
Types of CZ base pads per model line
When it comes to the types of base pads from the perspective of compatibility with CZ model, there are 3 types.

*That does not mean there are only 3 types of magazines; there are many more. But the base pads of the magazines are designed in 3 ways.*
- CZ Shadow 2 & CZ 75 type base pads – includes CZ Shadow 2, CZ Shadow 2 Compact & Carry, CZ SP-01 Shadow, CZ 75B models, CZ 75 SP-01 models, CZ P-01 or CZ 75 Compact.
- CZ TS 2 & CZ TS 1 type base pads – includes CZ TS 2 models (CZ TS 2 Orange, CZ TS 2 Racing Green & others) and older CZ Tactical Sports models (CZ 75 Tactical Sports, CZ TS Orange, CZ TS Czechmate)
- CZ P-10 & CZ P-07 & P-09 type base pads – includes CZ P10 models (except of CZ P10M, which has a thinner magazine), CZ P07, and CZ P09

CZ Shadow 2 & CZ 75 type base pads
If a magazine works for two different CZs, the base pads will work as well.
Since base pads do not depend on the gun size (e.g., CZ 75B vs CZ 75 Compact), you can select from more base pad options than magazines.

CZ TS 2 & CZ TS 1 type base pads
CZ TS 2 models (and also the older CZ TS 1 models) come from factory as magwell-ready. Therefore on the factory magazines you will already find magwell-compatible base pads.
As far as we know, there are not even any base pads for TS 2 models that would be non-compatible with magwell. Therefore we only mention link to category for magwell compatible base pads.

CZ polymer models type base pads
CZ polymer models use interchangeable magazines with the same width and magazine base mounting.
*The only exception is CZ P-10M, which uses a single stack magazine. You can find compatible base pads for CZ P-10M here.*

Individual CZ models from P-10, P-07 & P-09 series have differently shaped grips. Base pads that are not compatible with a magwell (i.e. made to be flush with grip) may not look ideal on other models, but they can still be installed and will be functional.
For example, a base pad for CZ P-07 and a base pad for CZ P-10 & CZ P-09 are shaped slightly differently. They can be mounted interchangeably, but they may not sit flush with the grip if used on the other model.
However, if base pads are designed to work with magwells (shorter in front), they will not sit flush with the grip anyway and can be installed interchangeably.

Base pads for pinned magazines
If your magazine is pinned to 10rnd, in most cases it does not affect base pad compatibility.

As long as the spring goes down to the base pad bottom to hold the plate, the pads will fit regardless of whether the magazine is pinned or full capacity.
*Important: the capacity of a pinned magazine does not change with a new base pad. Pinning is done from the top of the magazine, so its capacity remains the same. That means the magazine remains in the same legal category, even with extended pads installed.*
