How to mount dovetail scope rings on a CZ 457

You can get CZ 457 from factory in two variants (from the perspective of mounting scope):

equipped with Picatinny rail
- in such case this article is not for you,
not equipped with Picatinny rail
- In that case, this article is what you need to know if you want to install CZ 457 scope rings directly to the dovetail. That is, without gettin an extra Picatinny rail.

Ensure you have an empty chamber.
Unscrew every screw on the rings.
Once all screws are removed, slide the bottom halves of the rings onto the dovetail and tighten them to the recommended torque specification (2–2.5 Nm).
Place the scope in the desired position and loosely screw in the upper halves of the rings. Adjust the scope’s position as needed.
Once the scope is correctly positioned, tighten the screws to the recommended torque settings (2–2.5 Nm).
Tighten the screws in a cross pattern to distribute pressure evenly.
