How to install the recoil spring on CZ Scorpion Evo

What will you need

2 mm punch (5/64 inch)

Step by step guide

Ensure the chamber is empty and leave the bolt open.
Press out the retaining pin and remove the lower receiver.
Hold the charging handle in place to prevent the bolt from dropping.
Slightly push the bolt back and remove it.
Connect the included cable ties to form a large loop.
Compress the spring and secure it with the cable tie loop, revealing the small detent spring and pin.
Use the 2 mm punch to push the pin out.
Remove the cap at the end and take off the ties.
Remove the original spring and install the new one.
Compress the spring again and reattach the ties.
Replace the cap and tap the pin back into place.
Remove the ties and check that everything functions correctly.
When reinserting the bolt, hold the charging handle for safety.
Reattach the lower receiver — installation is complete.
